Let's talk about decorating a room. Many people are overwhelmed by the prospect of tearing apart a room and starting anew. Where does one begin.
First, you choose a theme for your room. Then you pick your colors and after that you select your fabrics.
You need a main fabric that is either a textural solid or a large scale pattern. Select at least two other fabrics with different patterns and/or textures. Once you have made these selections you choose your details. Do you want ruffles, pleats, self welting, contrast welting, fringe, buttons, ties or trims?
When all of the above come together you will have the joy of seeing your creation come to life. The textures, colors and finishes you have chosen will be a reflection of your good taste and sense of design.

| West Week at Pacific Design Center |

Hi Everyone,
Sorry we have been so remiss in posting on our site. We moved our offices and we have been going crazy for a couple of weeks. Everything has settled down, and we are excited about our new space.
West Week was last week at the Los Angeles Design Center. It is always exciting to go and see all the new products along with friends from around the country that we speak to over the phone but don't get a chance to see that much. There are a lot of exciting fabrics and furniture designs that will be showing up soon in the marketplace that I think you will love. Over the next few weeks I will pick a few of the ideas and designs that I think are most unique and bring them to your attention.
Have to go now and try to organize another shelf in the office.
